I finished a pair of socks earlier this week using Sundara Sock Yarn. Her colors are so rich and saturated, I would love to go back for more. But, time to stash burn, you know? I found a list on her website that I loved, so I'm sharing it with you:

Final Socktoberfest FO!
Pattern: Rhodie Gus by Kirsten Kapur Yarn: GypsyKnits BFL Superwash Fingering Color: Rose Garden Needles: US 1 1/2 - 2.5 mm Started: October 24, 2010 Completed: October 31, 2010
Note: This yarn is a very fine fingering, and the color is lovely. It appears her shop is closed right now, but there is a lot of her yarn stashed away on Ravelry. It was hard to capture the true green in this photo - but take my word for it - it's green.
It's a beautiful Autumn day here for Halloween. Watchin' some football and starting some new projects....

Mystery Sock from Through the Loops
Pattern: TTL Mystery Sock by Kirsten Kapur Yarn: Apple Laine Apple Pie Color: Hey Baby Needles: US 1 1/2 - 2.5 mm Started: October 1, 2010 Completed: October 29, 2010
Note: This has been a fun project. It's kind of nice to attack a pattern like this, a little bit each week.
From a distance, I think this yarn is a pretty color, but when you get close up to it, it resembles an exploded clown.
In the end, these will go into the sock basket and they will find a good home somewhere.
Yarn Club Shipment:
I managed to get into the last three shipments of hand-dyed yarn from Fall Creek Fibers yarn club. This has been some beautiful yarn. She also mixes teas and dyes fiber. I loved the tea sample that she sent. I have the house to myself for the weekend, so I am putting together sock kits from my stash and finishing up some projects on the needles.

Pattern: Shur'tugal by Alice Yu (free download at Ravelry or Socktopus) Yarn: Sundara Yarn Sock Yarn Color: Autumn Rose Needles: US 1 1/2 - 2.5 mm Started: October 8, 2010 Completed: October 22, 2010
Note: I finished this one by the skin of my teeth! I have to stop making the top of my socks so long!
I think I am in a color rut:
This is the Snicket Socks pattern in Blue Moon Fiber Arts Lightweight in Red Clover. At the rate I am going, I may finish two more pair before the end of the month!

Tribute
Pattern: Tribute by Brenda Patipa Yarn: Mama Llama Original Sock Color: Brown Needles: US 1 1/2 - 2.5 mm Started: October 4, 2010 Completed: October 21, 2010
Note: Love this pattern, but I had maybe 20 feet of yarn left at the end. That rarely happens to me!
So this would be my second pair for Socktoberfest - actually I've finished two more pair, but you'll have to wait for them!
The sun is finally shining this afternoon so now I wish I had waited to take my photos!

Look at Me Go!
Note: Pattern available exclusively for the Alice Kit as part of the Woolgirl Wizard of Oz Sock Club. Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists and his Starry Starry Night one of my favorite paintings. I also love Sophie's Toes sock yarn. If you are me, how do you resist this yarn? Look at how it knit up:

Wednesday FO (Sock Pair the 20th*)!
Cotty Socks:
Pattern: Cotty by Irishgirlieknits Yarn: ShibuiKnits Sock Color: Brown Needles: US 2 - 2.75mm Started: September 20, 2010 Completed: October 1, 2010
Note: I've been wanting to try this pattern since I first saw it. This yarn has been in the stash for, well, forever. It's an easy knitting yarn and an easy pattern, I would like to try it in a monotone dyed yarn.
*The goal for the year was to finish 2 pair/month using up a good chunk of stash yarn. I believe I am well on track. Especially since I have another FO to show off later this week.
