Mystery Sock from Through the Loops
Pattern: TTL Mystery Sock by Kirsten Kapur Yarn: Apple Laine Apple Pie Color: Hey Baby Needles: US 1 1/2 - 2.5 mm Started: October 1, 2010 Completed: October 29, 2010
Note: This has been a fun project. It's kind of nice to attack a pattern like this, a little bit each week.
From a distance, I think this yarn is a pretty color, but when you get close up to it, it resembles an exploded clown.
In the end, these will go into the sock basket and they will find a good home somewhere.

No no no, it's really pretty. No one will be laying at your feet . . . well, maybe . . .
The color brought me right back to when I was 6 or 7. I used to take the pink, blue and yellow crayon and scribble big circles all around the paper. It looked just like this colorway.

the pattern of the socks is wonderful, and skillfully worked by the knitter! very nicely done!
the colourway delightfully reminds me of the watercolour washes that were part of the learning process in art classes way way way way back in high school.
