A Baby (Gasp) Blanket.
Just for a friend. Blue Sky Alpaca 100% cotton held double. I go through a skein a night watching TV, then switch over to a pair of socks. The pattern is Wool Leaves by Jared Flood. He does publish easy to read patterns and I am loving how this is coming along. I predict an FO by 3/1!

This is another pattern book that I received for Christmas. One sock done, the second is underway. Love the intensity of this color.

Have I mentioned that I LOVE this book?
The three hats that I've finished already this month are from this book. There are at least three other patterns in here that I am itching to cast on.
They go so quickly, and I had two perfect skeins of Malabrigo in the stash for this one.Sunday, February 19, 2012
Confessions:
This yarn entered the house sometime after Christmas when I redeemed by $25 Loopy Ewe shopping credit. I decided pale pink is one color that I have very little of in my stash. So there it is. ShibuiKnits.

FO Hubby Socks (#2)
Pattern: Cauchy by Cookie A Yarn: Fleece Artist Sea Wool Color: Gray Needles: US 1 - 2.25 mm Started: November 5, 2011 Completed: January 31, 2012 Note: Hubs came home from a business trip last night and promptly slid these on his feet. I will not see them again for a while (when I am sure they will be standing up by themselves on the floor of his closet, demanding to be washed!)

The Sock Mill
The Sock Mill is still churning away. I have to admit, this particular sock is trying my patience. The Medium weight yarn knits up into a very firm fabric, but hurts my hands because it is so stiff. Give me lightweight BMFA STR any day please....

Pattern: Brier Toque by Cecily Glowik MacDonald Yarn: I have lost the label! Color: Purple/Black/Green/White Needles: US 5 Started: January 23, 2012 Completed: January 25, 2012 Note: This wound up much longer than the pattern, but it is liked.
Seriously, he could not stop dancing around and I finally had to quit when both dogs got involved. Sorry. No pictures of that craziness.

Coraline
Coraline is moving right along. The hem took the longest time, now I can sit down and knit a couple rows and set it aside knowing there is no time pressure on this one! Although I would like to finish it before the end of March!

Bueller? Bueller?
Have you seen this yet? Have you counted the references back to Ferris Bueller?
I have watched this several times now - furiously happy.

Socks FO! (#1)
First finished pair of the New Year!
Pattern: Snow Petals by Lisa Stichweh Yarn: Zitron Trekking Hand Art Color: 505 Jamaika Needles: US 1 - 2.25 mm Started: January 1, 2011 Completed: January 19, 2012 Note: Things got really twisty with this pattern. Oh my goodness. I have to say that this Zitron yarn certainly distributes the color repeats in a pleasing manner.
Now I have to go dry my tears since the Wild broke my heart, again, last night.
