Half a Calpurnia?

Pattern:  Calpurnia by Chrissy Gardiner  Yarn:  All Things Heather Hand Dyed Sock Yarn  Color: Skye  Needles:  US 1 - 2.25 mm  Started:  July 17, 2011  Completed: August 5, 2011  Note:  These are for me!  Finished them on Puck's 15th birthday as well!  We got the Driver's Permit on Friday too!  Love the cuff.  Finished the heel Turtlegirl style as well!

This pattern was meant to be different front and back.  I didn't get that when I read it the first time through, and knit the patter repeat the same on the front and back.  I found I liked them that way, so I kept it.  That is why it is half a Calpurnia - I completely ignored half the pattern!  I am such a dork.

Comments:
They're gorgeous anyway!! And oh, the excitement of the learner's permit...

You have my deepest sympathies with the permit issuing. However, Puck has my deepest congratulations.

Love the blue socks - nearly time to start wearing socks again.

They are so pretty though! That is the joy of handknits - you can adapt them to the way you want them to be.
