Artisan Sock

Macro Time!

Pattern:  Gentian by Lisa Stichweh (free Ravelry download) Yarn:  Hazel Knits Artisan Sock Color:  Band is lost - it was a club color Needles:  US 2 - 2.75 mm  Started:  February 25, 2011  Completed:  March 9, 2011
Note:  This pattern repeat was so long I only had to knit it twice on the leg and twice on the foot, the yarn is a little heavier than my usual yarn so the whole thing finished up really quickly.  LOTS of cabling in this sock pattern, but can I tell you how much I love these socks?  I feel like I knit two miniature Aran sweaters.

Evidently the Wild and the Gophers were terrible last night, but our HS team won their semi-final round and there will be a Championship game tonight.  Eagles v. Hounds!

Comments:
That is a gorgeous pattern!

Yay for the HS team!

Congrats on winning state! WHOOHOOOOOOO! Feels good, doesn't it?

Those socks are gorgeous. Really really pretty - both the design and color. Lovin' it.

Great Game!

GO team!!

And go socks!! Love those cables.

Oooh! I really like that pattern, and the price is right too!

I love these socks. The cabling is so pretty. I can't get over how quickly you can knit up a pair of socks.

Those socks are beautiful! I was just dropping by to let you know that I knit up the lovely hank of Slytherin yarn you sent me in HSKS. Check out my blog to see the pretty yarn all knit up.
