WIP/SIP:
These are the Olympic Copper pattern and they were not the fastest pattern I have ever worked on. As a matter of fact. I should have FO photos for you later this week. It's actually a pretty crappy picture, but some days, I just don't have it.
We had a weekend of Lacrosse in the weird weather, and a team party out at the lake home of one of the kids. Just before we arrived - the son had been dropped off while the dad ran to get gas for the boats - Puck's buddy heard a huge crash-bang. He thought it was a gun of some sort. A large (HUGE) tree, on the lakeside of the house had become so top-heavy and wet that it broke off and demolished the bottom half of the yard. I'd say 30 wooden steps leading down to the lake were smashed beneath this behemoth of a tree. Lucky, lucky, lucky that no one was outside and none of the other kids were there yet.
So Teen graduates on Friday, and Puck heads off to DC on Saturday morning. My very strange and unusual Summer begins next week. Stay tuned!

Oh my gosh!!! You all were very very very lucky that day. Let's hope the luck continues as we progress through the summer and the storms that arrive with the season.
Glad no one was hurt! Socks are lovely, really like the brown and blues of the socks and the background too!
Congrats to Teen.
Congrats to Teen.
My god! Will you be alone this summer? For awhile anyway. I can't imagine the crazy amounts of knitting you're going to get done. I could use your expertise on finishing my central park hoodie. It's been staring at me for several months now. Like a pile of severed body parts. shudder.
