Stashbuster FO!
Pattern: Child's Striped Raglan by Green Mountain Spinnery Yarn: Knit Picks Merino Style and Valley Yarns Berkshire Color: Storm and Oatmeal Needles: US 4 and 6 Started: April 15, 2010 Completed: May 1, 2010
Note: This pattern was fun, easy and fast. I dug the yarn out of my stash and now this sweater is on its way to Afghanistan.
I'm in the process of watching the last six episodes of Dollhouse. I'm a little sad that there will be no more episodes because the story just started to get really interesting. That seem sto happen more often than not to Mr. Whedon's shows.
Teen turns 18 next week and I am in the middle of researching his big gift. The whole family is chipping in to buy him a Tuba. He's played for 8 years and he's never owned his own Tuba. He'd like to continue playing at University - it's almost like buying a car - I had no idea how expensive they could be. Transporting it will be a whole 'nother issue.
My next project is going to be a pretty blankie for the college boy. (You know, like a knitted afghan.)

What a great mom to knit him an afghan before he goes off to college.
Where exactly do you buy a tuba anyway???

I agree with all the previous comments, nice sweater and very nice mom to be searching for a tuba.
I had no idea, but thinking about it, I guess tubas would be expensive. And yes, I don't even want to think about the transport. You are a super nice mom!
