Mid-sock Photo
Do you ever have one of those days where you just want to buy a big swak of yarn? Just a nice pile to wind up and cast on? I think if I just go digging through my stash and pull out my next project's worth I can hold it all off...
In the meantime I'm mid-sock on two pair for May. Hmm. I guess I only have a picture of one. My knitting group thinks this color is Autumnal, but it made me feel sunny and warm. The pattern is stretchy and squooshy so it may go into the Christmas Sock Basket.
A while back Lolly showed off an afghan she knit and I admired it. I also thought it was an appropriate use for the Noro she used. Then Webs put a big bunch of Noro on clearance so I picked out a color that I thought would appeal to my college- bound son. I plan on casting it on and finishing it before we ship him off to Vancouver. I have a feeling I didn't order enough yarn! Pics to come soon!

I was at Shepherds Choice in Anoka the other day for stuff that isn't yarn and I managed to make it out without yarn, but only because I didn't touch any of it.
Now I wanna go back.
Now I wanna go back.
Oh wow, that is a very pretty pattern. Can't wait to see yours. I'm sure your son will appreciate it next winter when he is away at school.
the pattern you chose for this yarn is definitely complimenting the colours. looking forward to seeing the finished socks.
I did that a while back, just pulled out a pile of skeins and wound them all up. Made me feel like I was getting something done! :-)
