Happy New Year!
Well, I made it back here just in time to wish you all a Happy Holiday!
Oh, and to wave around another FO. I've got three to show off, but here's number one. Also, the pictures are HORRIBLE! Really. For a Cookie A. pattern, these photos should be much better!
Glynis
Note: For a Cookie A. pattern, this pair of socks was not too intricate. They turned out great and my 14-year-old niece nabbed them out of the basket, snick-snack!
A little break from socks coming up, some Bella's Mittens and some hats for January Hat Trick! over at Ravelry.
I got a new camera for Christmas so I'm hoping that will help with the bad photos!

The Third Dog:
Now, how could I resist a pattern called after the designer's husband's nom de plume; "3rd Dog"!
Note: This is my favorite pair of STR socks that I have ever knitted. The pattern was easy and moved along really quickly. I knit the entire pair while I watched hockey and football. The pile for the Christmas Basket is getting along very nicely - I actually have two more pair on the needles!
We are almost ready for Christmas here. Puck and I have a complete BBQ pork sandwhich menu made up for Christmas Eve and the nieces and nephews are all getting Pook Toques for Christmas. Really. Teen and I brought a couple home from Vancouver and they have become the hit amongst the 8th graders in my son's group of friends.
I haven't toured my Christmas decorations, nor have we made any college decisions, we seem to be in a state of stasis. I do have new yarn though! I'll show you later...

Friday FO - Beans!
Note: This yarn base was nothing special, but the socks themselves finished up looking like a berry pie explosion.
Still no pictures of the bender, but so far I've only gotten one package.

Hisuiiro!
Note: Love the Knitwitch's colors. I will definitely try her yarn again, but it will be a different yarn base - the Celestial was very soft and splitty. I use sharp needles and yarn this splitty is a road to being cross-eyed! The pattern was fun and moved really fast once I got through it a first time.
I've been on a stash bender over the last week, so hopefully I'll have some pretty pictures to show you later this week!
