Diminishing Rib Cardi

Pattern: Diminishing Rib Cardi by Andrea Pomerantz from Spring 2009 IK Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Peru Color: Spinel Needles: Knitpicks Options US 8/5.0 mm Started: May 4, 2009 Completed: June 23, 2009.

Note: I learned a new cast-on and bind-off for this sweater, (yay learning new things)! I believe I made it one size too large, however this is too comfy not to wear. I used around 1250 yards so I'll have to come up with a hat to make with the leftovers. This completes my sixth sweater for NaKniSweMoDo. Now the Copine needs some sleeves...

Cabin in the morning so I'm working on the other pink sock this weekend.

Comments:
Thanks for sharing the video. It brought tears to my eyes. Such a talent has left us too soon.

Gorgeous sweater!! Have fun at the cabin - hope it's more dry there than it's supposed to be here.

There's nothing like a cozy, unfitted cardigan!

Looks great! I just hit the sleeves on mine...

You hit the nail on the head. As someone on Facebook said, the Michael Jackson worth mourning died a long time ago. So sad.

Lovely sweater! Have a great weekend!

Your cardi is lovely! I never would have knit it based on the IK photos, but now that I've seen yours...

Hard to believe Michael Jackson is both dead and turned out the way he did.

The cardi looks great. Bigger is usually comfier.

Empoisonee is so darn pretty.

Such a shame his life was both sad and short.

Fantastic cardigan! Have a nice quiet weekend up north.
