Liesl: Now With Buttons! (oh, and sleeves...)

Pattern: Liesl (Rav link) by Ysolda Teague from her website ysolda Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica Color: 055 Needles: Knitpicks Options in US 7 / 4.5 mm Started: April 8, 2009 Buttoned Up: April 25, 2009.

Note: Wow! I know I say it a lot, but this really was a quick knit. Combination of the thick/thin yarn and the larger sized needles. This also used only 690 yards of yarn. I was thrilled when I found She Shoots Sheep Shots' Etsy shop - these sea glass buttons are gorgeous little pieces of art.

Again, I am awake way too late watching Hockey - darn those California games! This Sharks/Ducks series is crrrrazy! The Sharks just bumped their series up to a sixth game. Thank goodness there are a whole bunch of hockey nuts over on Ravelry. I don't trash-talk much, but it's fun to watch the others chat it up!

Comments:
It's gorgeous! Does your fit/flatter better than Margene's did?

It's beautiful! How does it fit?

Coveting. Those. Buttons.

Wow - that's crazy beautiful! Are you wearing it today so I'll recognize you?

Perfect for Spring weather!

Very pretty! Does it hang really nice on a real live person?

Looks great! I didn't notice until fairly recently that Liesel uses a small amount of yarn. I really want to make one myself!

Great button collection too. : )
