Ric-Rac Rib Socks
Pattern: Ric-Rac Socks from The Little Box of Socks by Charlene Schurch and Beth Parrott Yarn: Sereknity Sock Options Woolicious Falkland Color: Triple Scoop Needles: Knitpicks Harmony DPN's 2.5 mm Started: October 11, 2008 Completed: October 24, 2008. Note: The pattern is really easy and makes a very stretchy, squooshy sock. This particular yarn has been discontinued, so I can say that I found it a little splitty and one end of the skein was not in great shape. However, the color is delicious and I would certainly buy her other base yarns here.
Yes, that is snow falling outside, however, I still have some of my leaves, unlike some of my neighbors!
Football season is over for us and Puck's team easily handed in the 24-8 victory for Third Place. The team with the too-large kid who hurt a bunch of other kids also was defeated in the championship round. (Karma?) Hockey now starts full-steam and the kid actually gets a day or two to hang out with his buddies.
Also, yesterday I cheered for the Gopher Football team (they beat Purdue!), I listened to the Gopher Hockey team (5-2!) and the EP Eagles Football team (they won, but not by much!) while I watched Wild Hockey play vs. Columbus (2-1, barely!). It was a good day for us MN/EP Fans!

I love those socks! And the color! Isn't the Little Box of Socks the best? I need to make that pattern!
I've decided that your sports obsession is really just a vehicle to hide your knitting obsession from the male species in your house. Very sneaky.
