FINALLY!

Seriously, three months! I don't think it's ever taken me that long to finish a pair of socks. I watched the last two disks of Band of Brothers with my boys this weekend. These absorbed the tears quite nicely in the episode when Buck went home; then again when they discovered the concentration camp.

Pattern: Whistle Bait from Terry Ross Designs Yarn: Schewe Original Shetland-Wolle Needles: Knitpicks Harmony DPN's in size 1 Started: June 21, 2008 Completed: October 19, 2008. Note: I think you know my opinion of this yarn and pattern by now. I love the socks and the color, now my fingers can recover.

The Gophers and the Wild made me happy this weekend, but those Vikings - wow - that club needs to do something really drastic.

Comments:
They look fantastic.

They look great.
I don't think I've ever knit a single sock in less than 3 months; obviously I need more knitting time.

Lovely socks! I think the Vikings can move now.

Another gorgeous pair of socks!

I love the color, too.

Gorgeous socks.

Band of Brothers was powerfully affecting - and I never watch war stories or movies. That one bored right into me...

Great looking socks! Isn't it a great feeling when you get something finished?

Beautiful socks. I so love a picot cuff! Why not treat your hands with a yarn with aloe vera?

Very pretty! But three months? That's nothing! You should see how long some of my stuff hangs around before I finish it.
