Isn't this just a weird little sock pattern?

Done in this yarn it reminds me of a Monet painting...

Pattern: Persephone's Socks from Oceanwin Knits Yarn: Scout's Swag Handpainted sock yarn Color: Stocker Pond (from sock yarn club) Needles: Knitpicks Harmony DPN's in size 1 Started: July 20, 2008 Completed: August 3, 2008. Note: These were a little more intricate of a pattern than I am used to, but once I’d ripped the entire thing once (too big), knitting it up was a breeze. The only change I made was to not break my yarn at the heel to start where they wanted me to start. Hate that.

Puck is off to hockey camp this week with a couple of his buddies. The Teen completed his P/Sat prep class this week - he scored a 216 on his sample test, so he's feeling pretty full of himself (that's well within the range for the National Scholarship Registry - yay!) All of a sudden, August is full of dentist and doctor appointments, haircuts and back-to-school pictures! Yipes!

Very pretty!
It cannot be so soon! School, I mean - sheesh!

It's a very funky little sock pattern - and very pretty colors. You laugh in the face of Summer Sock-o-mania - mwoo ha ha ha
Very Monet indeed! Yikes - back-to-school already?!
Quite the Waterlilies or the Pond:

Like them!
Gah - don't even get me started on the whole back-to-school chaos around here.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that pattern. I've gotta get back to my sock knitting. I'm a total slacker this summer. Double GAH!
Very impressionistic! Love the colors.
I do love the colors. You are like some kind of knitting machine - a very scary fast knitting machine ;)
Lovely. On my list - as you know!!
Cute pattern! Very Monet colors, yes.

Back to school already?
Great socks!

Back to school? Really? What happened to summer?
