I Don't Even Eat Sweet Potatoes.
However, I really did fall in love with this colorway - Sweet Potatoe Pie.
Kind of hypnotizing, isn't it?
Pattern: Spring Forward Socks by Linda Welch as published on Knitty.com Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Merino - Colorway: Sweet Potato Pie Needles: Knitpicks Harmony DPN's in size 1 Started: July 8, 2008 Completed: July 12, 2008. Note: This was a mill end, so I can't complain too much about the condition of the yarn (kinda iffy in some places), however I do wish the colors were a little brighter in the finished item. The pattern however was spiffy as all get-out. Quickly memorized and quickly finished.
Sigh, TLE....do you suppose I'll ever get some more Wollmeise? I know I completely missed an update on her website last week.
This is my last week of peace and quiet, after next Sunday, Ozzie will be returning home. Gulp. Do you suppose I will have to re-potty train him?
I mailed some yarn-ends and a blanket square today.
The wanderers are home from Amherst - they had a great time. They won 2 out of their 5 games (actually, much better than they expected), and learned a lot about how to improve their game.
I started my fourth pair of SOS '08 socks today. Heaven help me.

Those aren't even colors that normally appeal to me, but they sure made pretty socks! I can't believe how lucky I was to win Wollmeise - I would NOT have the patience to lurk at TLE to get a chance to buy some.
Congrats to the "wanderers"!
