Simply Cable Sock
I seem to have (inadvertently) hijacked this pattern and made a few changes. It's still cables though and I love the way the Brooklyn Handspun has worked up. Isn't it pretty?
This is my little Hareton sock. The pattern asked for 80 stitches, but that was way huge - maybe for a guy - so I brought it down to 60 and have had to improvise. Wish I could remember where I got this yarn from, though.
Three day countdown until Hawaii, I am packing and doing laundry as fast as I can. That reminds me, I have to call and stop the newspaper....

Have a grand time! I'll think of you - from Florida!! After I finish laundry and packing and - oh yeah - stop the paper too!
Have a great time in Hawaii. Hopefully you'll come back to real spring weather and not this snow stuff.
Hmm, in what way did you modify the pattern? I don't see it. Very pretty though! Have an awesome trip! : )
