What day is it?

Sorry I have been so conspicuously absent.

I injured my back and moving around my house easily has become quite the problem. (Not to mention trying to herd a medium-sized puppy around!)

The Urgent Care Dr. gave me some Flexaril and in my rare moments awake, I have been plugging away at this sock:

My neon orange Thuja - fastest sock in the West.

My terradance socks in Over the Rainbow Twinkletoes Sock yarn that I bought off ebay AGES ago. I knit this much last night during Sarah Connor Chronicles!
This is my Cozy V-Neck Pullover from Stefanie Japel's book. This also is going very quickly. I frogged Sleeping Beauty for this - a much more wearable neckline for me.

I have been struggling to keep up with the Bloglines because of the back - don't be surprised if I am slow to comment, friends! For those of you complaining about the math in my earlier post: I have used up 4x the amount of yarn that I purchased in January (so in other words - there is less coming in than there is going out!)

I am also participating in A Year In Socks with my buddy Rani. I've got a pattern and yarn all picked out, I just have to cast on.

Comments:
oh, mrs. G. watch your back! And, what's so special about the terradance socks? Love the orange yarn!

Sorry about your back. That sucks. Feel better soon.

Is it improving?? Poor you. And that Thuja is probably blinding you on top of it. ;)

Oh Hooray! You're back.
Oh no. Your back.

But the knitting looks great! You're really crankin' the stuff out.

No more picking up that puppy - how is Ozzie doing? I hope those little legs are starting to come back.

I hope you start to feel better soon! Was there a specific injury, or is this accumulative?

A few months ago I started to have some back pain, and I've started a stomach/back exercise regimine before bed each night--- well, most nights. It's helped a great deal.

My husband has back issues - lets just say, it's been a learning experience. Hope your lesson is over. Get better soon.

Sorry to hear about your back problems. Hope you are on the mend and back to normal soon!

You can still knit--and how!

Gosh, sorry to hear you have not been well. Being in pain is definitely NOT fun! I'm glad you are better. How is Ozzie? Were you carrying him around too much and hurt your back?

You have done so much knitting! Love the blue sweater. I have the book and keep planning to knit something out of it...The orange socks are - well - Bright!
