snow white

Well, I finally decided I should get around to this NaKniSweMo project. Look! My first tubular cast-on! So. Cool. Slow and putzy, but so cool! (Ysolde has the instructions on her website, otherwise I never would have winkled this out!) I have 15 skeins of KP Wool of the Andes to knit this up and it should be plenty. I have 24 days left in November - if I can get through a skein every two days - I'm golden! The reason I'm really confident about finishing this is 'cause I've already knit 90% through the first skein. Of course, there is the fact that DH and the boys are heading out to South Dakota this weekend for the annual Yute Hunt, so I finally get my three days of uninterrupted peace and quiet.

Oh, and meet my husband's anniversary gift:
He'll be coming to our house after Christmas. Whattaya think?

He's pretty cute.
What a cutie patootie! Now you have to wait. That was so hard for me when I was waiting for the boys to get old enough to bring home.
OOoooooooooooh. We're drooling over at our house!!!! Oooooooooooooh soooo cute!
He's adorable! Congrats!!! And I think we should meet for coffee and knitting during your mini-vacation. :)
No freaking way! I have to meet him. Holli will love him and lick him and ... well you know what dogs do.
Very cute! Does a dog walker come with the gift as well?
First of all, I really like the Snow White pattern-- what a great choice.

Secondly, what an adorable puppy! You'll have a busy house come December. :)
Way too cute!!! What a fantastic anniversary gift!
All I can do is squeal and scream "Puppy! Puppy! Puppy!"
1. Cuuuuuute!!!!!

2. Great Snow White. Of course you make it!

3. I nominated you and I tagged you. Choose for yourself what you take. :-)
Oh my gosh! Your puppy is so adorable!!!
I just want to love on him. He is so cute. I just love little lab puppies.
Sooooo cute!!!
Oh my goodness, that's the second new puppy in my fave blogs. There's going to be some fun posts to read in the near future.

All together now, "awwwwwwwwww"!
Best. Present. Ever.

But now, really, we have to meet. There are dog parks in EP, you know. I hear rumors that people knit at them.
Oh he is so cute! You're so lucky. We would like to get a dog but can't right now, so we'll have to do with having a cat. (Actually, we are quite fond of the cat, but still it's not a dog, no matter what it thinks.)
