Dig that Funky Scarf!!

I got this package yesterday so I had to share it with you.
This is the Funky Scarf I received from the Funky Scarf Swap.

She also tucked some sour candy in the package for me ...sorry no photo. The Sour Patch Kids lasted 24 hours. I'm saving the Altoids for my purse. Thank you Beth! (I'm not sure if she has a blog or not - Beth was the only name she signed to the card.)

I also received a package with some sock yarn in it...photos to come. I also have a photo of these FO's:How sweet are these? My little nieces (9 and 11) are getting these in their Christmas packages with some gift cards tucked inside. Now my next door neighbor girls are giving me the puppy eyes for a pair each. They only take about a day and a half to make and are so cute.

So Puck has started hockey and his football team is in the championship playoffs next week. For anyone who knows - I will be driving and cold for the next four months. DH and the teenager are heading out to Eureka, South Dakota this weekend to hunt at his cousin's farm. Something really cool? National Geographic is going to be at the farm - they are doing a piece on the generational aspects of hunting. How cool would that be if my teenager was in National Geographic?

Enjoy your MEA weekend.

That's a great scarf....lucky you.

That scarf is so pretty! I really wanted to do that swap but figured that anything that required deadline knitting right now is probably a bad idea:-)

Such a lovely scarf. Love the Fetching wristlets, too. One good thing about being a hockey mom is the rink time is good knitting time.

That is a gorgeous mixture of colors on that scarf. Wow! Wonder if it's Noro she used.
